I proudly present to you guys, my second Vestal, Diana Iñigo, aka Verania. This is done as part of an ongoing project with ~Ptitukyo
She's actually the first to be recruited by the Priestess and carries the very elemental symbol of the goddess Hestia: the Flame of the Hearth. I was mostly inspired by Ryuzaki Umi and Alcyone (from CLAMP's Magic Knight Rayearth) for the armor & sword and looks, respectively. For her attacks, I've inspired myself partly from Shishio of Rurouni Kenshin where she create fire just by scraping her sword on stone -- either she sets the ground on fire, or her sword's aflame, depending on where she directs her cosmo. I did mention that I'd lay off the digital coloring, but I can't bear the thought of just having Tarpeia the odd one out. Besides, I had fun with the Photoshop tutorial to make the flaming background! Comments, suggestions are most welcome. * Also see: Check out ~zaionic's rendition, commissioned by ~Ptitukyo : [link] ---------- Art & Character (c) aethra-caelis Saint Seiya (c) Masami Kurumada ...
